The Super Kings attack is already lacking New Zealand fast bowler Kyle Jamieson, who has been ruled out for the entire season due to a back injury, so Choudhary’s illness is the newest setback. Maheesh Theekshana and Matheesha Pathirana of Sri Lanka, who will join the team only after the conclusion of the country’s six-match white-ball series in New Zealand on April 8, will also be absent from the Super Kings.
