Caribbean Premier League to begin on August 16, shortly after India-West Indies series in Florida

The Caribbean Premier League (CPL) is set to commence on August 16, just three days after the conclusion of the India-West Indies series in Florida, US.

The tournament will run till September 24, and will follow a traditional caravan model with matches taking place in various locations.

While the exact itinerary for the India tour has not been announced, sources suggest that the final T20 game will be held on August 13 at the Central Broward Park & Broward County Stadium in Florida, preceded by a T20I on August 12.

The tour will comprise of two Tests, three ODIs and five T20Is, with the matches being held in the USA as well.

The Cricket West Indies (CWI) is expected to release the official schedule soon. The upcoming season will mark the 11th edition of the CPL, which will commence in Saint Lucia and conclude in Guyana.
