Ahmedabad team looking to sign up Ravi Shastri for next IPL

Earlier, the former Indian player had said that he wanted to slow down in life. Therefore, the decision to step down as a coach. However, he had also mentioned that he would like to entertain the idea of taking up a coaching position at an IPL franchise. His wish might come true; reports are buzzing about the newly inducted Franchise of Ahmedabad considering Shastri for the head coach position in the next year’s IPL.

Therefore, according to reports of Cricbuzz, the CVC Capitals group is eager to rope in Shastri before the mega auction starts. They want to create a team around Shastri and his work culture.
It is further reported that the Ahmedabad team is also rooting for the deputies of Shastri in the Indian team. Yes, they have also offered coach Bharat Arun and R Shridhar an opportunity to join the team ahead of the next season. Since Arun and Shridhar, too, are drawing to an end of their tenure alongside Shastri, they might actually be seen together yet again in the next year’s IPL.
