The first week of IPL 2020 has been very exciting and is keeping everyone glued to the televisions. Out of all the matches that have taken place till now, Delhi Capitals vs Kings XI Punjab was the most nerve-wracking. The match went to a super-over from where the franchise from Delhi won the game. Even though the Kings lost, Mayank Agarwal was the hero for the side.
Marcus Stoinis took Delhi Capitals to a huge total by his blistering knock in the minimum balls. Kings lost quick wickets and looked in a lot of trouble when Mayank Agarwal stepped up and took responsibility. He helped the team reach the huge total and scored 89 runs off 60 balls before getting dismissed when the side needed 1 run. He was the main reason why the side was so close to winning and also reaching the Super over.
Mayank has been an important part of the Kings XI Punjab squad and has contributed to several victories. He is a very good friend of the new skipper KL Rahul and they work very well in the centre field. Agarwal has pulled out the side from dire situations and thus make an important member of the squad. with the side aiming fr their first IPL trophy, Mayank Agarwal will be expected to contribute as many runs as he can from his bat and lead the side to victories with his bat. Kings XI Punjab will be playing their second match against Royal Challengers Bangalore who has won their first match against Sunrisers.
