Another season of IPL is near and, it has already completed a decade since it’s inception. Here take a look at the top three exquisite partnership in IPL history.

IPL – IPL is a big name in cricket entertainment. League has seen some of the finest batting innings in its long history. easy batting area where even the best bowler has failed in every way. And, IPL, which started in 2008, has become one of the best cricket leagues in the world today. A team’s performance in league history matters a lot to be successful. For a successful captain, performance matters more than a better team.

A clever captain like Dhoni is the only one in the history of the league, the reason for which is very clear. Consistent team performance and some great partnerships make a team victorious. Barring a select few performances, partnerships have worked almost every time. The cricket of IPL is very friendly for the batsmen and many times glimpses of partnerships have been seen in the league.

Before we talk about big partnerships, only partnerships have come down to win trophies in IPL. Virat Kohli has everything but his team does not even have the addition of partnerships, whose results are still suffering to date.

1. Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers (229 runs)

The best partnership in league history came from the bat of Virat Kohli and Deliveries. Adding 229 runs against Gujarat Lions, the Lions were blown away. In the 2015 IPL season, Royal Challengers went to bat as Chris Gayle lost the opening wicket early, but what happened after that is still recorded in history.

Ab de Villiers played an unbeaten inning of 129 in just 52 balls while Kohli got out after scoring 109 runs in the last over. In reply, Gujarat Lines could score only 104 runs and lost the match by 144 runs.

2. Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers (215* runs)

Another great partnership and the year was 2015. Royal Challenger Bangalore had a great season in 2015. Out to bat, Bangalore once again lost Chris Gayle early. But after that, Mumbai Indians were washed in their own house and washed in such a way that everyone remembers till today.

Royal Challengers Bangalore’s score was 1 for 235, which now included de Villiers’ 133 and Kohli’s 82. Both Virat and Ab were not out till the end of the innings. In reply, Mumbai Indians could score only 196 runs and lost the match.

3. Adam Gilchrist and Shaun Marsh (206)

The year was 2011 when the captain and opener of Kings XI Punjab made the Royal Challengers Bangalore dance with the blast of a firefight in Dharamsala. Gilchrist and Marsh added 206 runs including 27 extras. Punjab made a huge score by spoiling both the line and length of the bowling of Royal Challengers.

Gilchrist was dismissed for 105 while Marsh remained unbeaten on 79. In reply, Royal Challengers were bundled out for just 111 runs and lost the match badly.
