IPL: Hardik Pandya might contribute his leadership with an all-rounder performance

Hardik Pandya might bowl in the upcoming season of IPL as his injuries make the decision doubtful.

The skipper of the Ahmedabad team Hardik Pandya might come up with a “surprise” for the fans as the Indian player might pick up his bowling attempt after a long time. The injuries which restricted Hardik from being an all-rounder as his body limited him to bowl are still a question of whether he will be bowling for his team or not.

Hardik has been witnessed contributing with the bat and can purely be stated as a middle-order batsman as the fans are still waiting for the prime-time Hardik Pandya to take wickets and celebrate in his style. Hardik in a recent talk with the Cricbuzz official stated that his bowling might come out as a surprise for team Ahmedabad.

An all-rounder is preferable to get picked by any team as it gives the team multi-options to set up roles and game plans for the individual. Realizing the critical situation Hardik states that he wants to contribute with the bowl but his injuries prevent him from doing so.

“Hardik Pandya combined with both bat and ball, it sounds better than just a batter,” said Hardik to Cricbuzz.

Hardik Pandya has been appointed the captain for the newly welcomed team Ahmedabad in ₹ 15 crores and will be looking forward to a new role of captaincy which might help the CVC Capital-owned team to build strategic plans ahead of the Mega Auctions. Apart from Hardik, Ahmedabad has cashed in Rashid Khan (₹ 15 crores) and Shubman Gill (₹ 8 crores).
