IPL 2024: Rishabh Pant’s career records till 2024

Recovering from severe injuries after a life-threatening car accident in December 2022, Rishabh Pant has returned; the left-hand batsman has once again taken over the Delhi Capitals in the 2024 IPL.

Pant’s return to the ground after skipping the entire 2023 section is a testament to the player’s resilience and determination. Pant was acquired by Delhi Capitals in the 2016 IPL auction when on the same day, he also captained for India’s U-19 World Cup. Known for his aggressive left hand for battering the ball, Pant’s most popular season was the second day of the 2018 IPL season, when he sacked 684 offside runs at an average of three and a strike rate of 173.60 in an average of three.

In the series, the player made 488 runs and became the second-highest wicket-taker on the DC team that season. Owing to a strike rate of 162.66. The player was supposed to skip the 2023 league schedule because of a horrific car crash, however, he is back and doing well for DC.
