IPL 2023: Mitchell Marsh to fly back to Australia for marriage; to miss few games for Delhi Capitals

All-rounder Mitchell Marsh will fly back to Australia to get married, according to Delhi Capitals bowling coach James Hopes, and has been determined unavailable of the team’s scheduled Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 games. In the two games thus far, against the Gujarat Titans and the Lucknow Super Giants, Marsh was a member of DC’s starting 11.

The star all-rounder bowled for the Capitals in their most recent game against the Titans and concluded with a figure of 1/24. He is making a comeback after a protracted injury layoff. Marsh’s batting career didn’t get off to the best of starts when he was castled for a golden duck against Lucknow in the opening game and only managed to score four runs against the Titans.

Delhi Capitals will take on Rajasthan Royals today as both teams are looking for a victory after suffering crushing defeats in their previous games.

Rajasthan Royals will be looking for a comeback after the difficult loss to Punjab Kings, while Delhi Capitals are still searching for their initial win of this season.
