Lucknow Super Giants’ skipper KL Rahul faced some questions regarding his captaincy and his former IPL team named Punjab Kings. KL Rahul also revealed the reason why he left his former IPL team (Punjab Kings) and chose the new franchise Lucknow Super Giants. According to reports, the Indian cricket team opener was been given the chance to remain in the team by Punjab Kings but KL thought of changing the team. KL Rahul was been named the captain of Lucknow Super Giants since he got into the team.
“I’m so glad to be part of a new team and build it from scratch and that’s what really excited me and that’s why I made the movement to a new team because I wanted to be a part of something like this and learn along the way. That is something that would be good for me in my journey and it’ll help me grow as a person,” said KL Rahul on a Red Bull cricket room on Clubhouse.
Skipper KL Rahul will be playing the first game in Lucknow Super Giants’ jersey on Monday, 28th March against Gujrat Titans who is another new franchise coming into the IPL from this year.
