IPL 2022: Lucknow Super Giants reveal it’s team logo

So far, Lucknow opted to go with the right-handed batsman, KL Rahul (Rs 17 crores), Australian All-rounder Marcus Stoinis (Rs 9.2 crore), and Right-arm leg spinner, Ravi Bishnoi (Rs 4 crores) for the IPL 2022.

The new IPL franchise in the upcoming 2022 season, Lucknow Super Giants have come up with their new logo, ahead of the 2022 mega auction. The franchise said that its brand identity portrays inspiration from ancient Indian mythology.

LSG said in a statement that the mythical bird Garuda who is a protector and enthroned with the power to move swiftly, inspires them to create a winged emblem of the team. Garuda is ever-present in Indian culture and subculture.

They further added that the tri-colour wigs of the entity symbolically represent Lucknow Super Giants Pan-India appeal. The body of the bird has been made by a blue-coloured bat, signifying the game of cricket and also a red ball with an orange seam. It is considered to be like an auspicious ‘Jay tilak’.

LSG says that the whole identity is endowed with strong positive energy to soar higher and higher and achieve success.

KL Rahul will be leading the Lucknow Super Giants. LSG will be coached by Andy flower, while former Indian opening batsman, Gautam Gambhir to serve as the mentor of the franchise.
