
CVC Capital-owned team Gujarat Titans have been witnessed to trend on Twitter since it announced its official name for the upcoming Indian Premier League.
Ahmedabad franchise on Wednesday announced the official team via the pre-match session on ‘ Star Sports’ where host Jatin Sapru presented the guests – Gujrat Titan’s skipper Hardik Pandya, head coach Ashish Nehra, and CVC Capital Partner Siddharth Patel to announce the official name. Jatin Sapru revealed the ‘Gujrati’ connections with the guests by stating that the Partner and skipper were themselves Gujarati, while the head coach Ashish Nehra is the son-in-law of the Gujarati family.

Gujrat Titans came to the ‘Twitter’ world and got a positive response from fans all around the world. Surprisingly the account was made in December and was unknown to the fans and game viewers and after the name announcement the official accounts game forward with just 700 followers. Within a few hours, the family of hundreds was converted into a family of 26k plus followers.
The first tweet by the official account was the team’s name announcement and a text which phrased ‘Shubh Aarambh’which means a positive beginning. Almost all the remaining franchises welcomed Gujarat Titans to the Twitter world in their funny way.
