Chennai Super Kings welcomes their beloved captain, MS Dhoni, to the hometown of Chennai where MS has been spotted along with the weeks ahead of the mega auction. The mega auction is set to be held on the 12th and 13th of February.
Defending champions Chennai Super Kings and skipper Dhoni have begun their game-planning before entering the entertaining and exciting mega auction. Dhoni reunites with the CSK family as he was spotted entering a hotel on Thursday.

Every year MS is witnessed to be the first player getting started with the auction plans as well as the team campaign. MS Dhoni’s advice before the auction becomes critically important as the owners sitting at the auction table for CSK do listen to their skipper before taking any decision. CSK has been witnessed with numerous surprise picks and no doubt Dhoni has once again begun the preparations for the strategic action planning.
Chennai Super Kings have retained four players. Jadeja bags in 16 crores, while Dhoni is given 12 crores, followed by Moeen Ali and Ruturaj Gaikwad who have been contracted with 8 crores and 6 crores respectively. Retaining four players ahead of the auction leaves Chennai Super Kings with a wallet balance of 48 crores which might help the franchise to build a balanced set of the squad.
Former captain and the legendary player MS Dhoni was also spotted having “family time” at his farmhouse which includes Dhoni’s several pets. Dhoni recently welcomed a pair of parrots at his farmhouse where Sakshi Singh Dhoni shared a video of MS enjoying his tea, while the parrots were witnessed eating leaves.
