MS Dhoni’s era of captaincy has finally come to an end after the IPL franchise named Chennai Super Kings announce Indian star all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja as the new captain on Thursday. It was a very surprising decision by legend MS Dhoni as he himself stepped down as captain on the same day. Defending champions are practicing with the same heat as they were seen in the nets after the new captain’s announcement. CSK posted a picture on Instagram on Thursday, where new skipper Jadeja was seen practicing in the nets and MS Dhoni standing and watching him.

The official Instagram handle posted a picture along with a caption, “Superkings in action!”

Ravindra Jadeja also had his say after he was been named as the captain of the team, He also showed so much respect to the former captain MS Dhoni during his latest interview posted by CSK on their official Twitter handle. Jadeja said despite being a captain of the team, he will always go to legend MS Dhoni and will take his advice. Chennai Super Kings will be playing their first game against KKR on the opening day itself in Wankhede stadium.
