IPL 2022 – Another season is around the corner and teams have started their training camps with their players. Kolkata Knight Riders has appointed Brendon McCullum as head coach for the season. McCullum was the former player for Kolkata Knight Riders who also has the record of playing 158 run knock in the inaurgal match of IPL.
Kolkata Knight Riders has big match player in the line up in the form of Andre Russell. The west Indies player has been most dangerous hitters of the league history. Russell knock against Royal Challengers Bangalore still etched in people minds in which KKR was almost lost but the batsman took the front end and destroyed the opposition into the pieces.
Ahead of the season, KKR has retained Sunil Narine, Venkatesh Iyer and Andre Russell to boost their line up. Led by Shreyas Iyer this time around Kolkata Knight Riders will hope to go close to the title shot. Shreyas Iyer was the part of Delhi Capitals in the previous seasons and under his leadership, franchise had reached new heights.
