IPL 2022: Aaron Finch is all set to play for his ninth franchise in the tournament

Kolkata Knight Riders picked the Australian opener, Aaron Finch, for this season as a replacement for the opener Alex Hales. Finch will be playing for his ninth IPL franchise in this 15th season of the tournament,

Three days to go for the Indian Premier League to begin and the excitement level of fans is really high. It will be the 15th season of the IPL which will be starting from 26th March, Saturday with a blockbuster game between Kolkata Knight Rides and defending champions Chennai Super Kings. In this season’s IPL, Australia’s quite popular opener named Aaron Finch will be playing for KKR. This will be his ninth team in the IPL as he has already played in eight teams earlier.

Aaron Finch was picked up by the franchise (KKR) as a replacement for the England opening batter Alex Hales. As his injury news was out earlier, KKR saw Finch as a potential replacement of him for this season. It will be quite interesting to see whether the Australian opener gets the regular game time. Kolkata Knight Riders have also announced their new captain, Shreyas Iyer, two weeks ago after he was been bought by the franchise for 12.5 crores.

Aaron Finch looks ready for the new IPL season. “There’s one team I am missing a shirt from but I can’t remember which one (in IPL),” said Aaron Finch via Cricket.com.au. It is likely that he will be playing in the first game in new jersey against CSK.
