In the first innings, the first breakthrough for India came on the 4th ball of the first over after Javeria Khan hit the day’s first boundary but was dismissed on the next ball by Deepti Sharma.
As the Skipper, Bismah Maroof comes as number 3, she smashes two back-to-back boundaries on Deepti Sharma’s delivery at the fifth ball of their over. The first boundary came after she hammered a shot over the bowler’s head for a four. The second one comes after she sweeps it behind the square leg, and the ball crosses the boundary line. Then, Radha Yadav gives India another breakthrough by taking out Muneeba Ali in the last ball of the 6th over. India quickly capitalizes and takes out Nida Dar for absolutely zero runs.
50 runs come up for Pakistan during the 7th over after losing three wickets. Radha picks up her second wicket as he takes out Sidra Amin in the 12th over. At the 15th over, the run rate for Pakistan was 6.07 runs per over, and 100 runs were scored with four wickets down. After the 15th over, Radha Yadav completed her brilliant spell for 21 runs and picked up two crucial wickets. On the 17th, over 50 runs come for the Pakistani captain.
Bismah Maroof and a 50 runs partnership between Bismah Maroof and 18-year-old Ayesha Naseem came up. Pakistan’s score in the 19th over was 136-4 wickets. At the end of the first innings, Pakistan scored 149-4 while setting India a decent target of 150 runs required to win.
