After the news outbreak of a new variant of COVID-19, BCCI postponed the South Africa tour to nine days. India was planning to go to South Africa for 3 Tests and 3 ODI’s which was about to start from 17 December earlier. But, now after the date is postponed due to the ‘Omicron’ variant which is said to be introduced and spread in large numbers from South Africa, the matches will be starting from 26th December. First, India will play 3 Tests and then will move on to ODI’s.
