Former Chennai Super Kings captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni has begun his preparations for the upcoming IPL season. He was recently seen practising his batting. Dhoni’s international career ended in 2020, but his brand value did not. He is still seen in a lot of commercials. Dhoni was recently photographed in a police uniform, and he is now pictured with former Indian team captain and former BCCI president Sourav Ganguly.
The two legendary captains of India are said to have met in Delhi. Both have been talking for quite some time. On their official social media, IPL franchise Chennai Super Kings posted a photo of Dhoni and Ganguly. “When the Prince met the Super King,” tweeted CSK. Dhoni has led Chennai to four IPL titles and may be seen for the final time this season.
In terms of cricket, the former Indian captain is expected to make his final appearance in the IPL in 2023. CSK will be attempting to win his fifth title. Dhoni has scored 4978 runs with an average of 39.2 in 234 IPL appearances. He has also led Chennai to four championships, in 2010, 2011, 2018, and 2021.
