
BCCI president Sourav Ganguly was recently rushed to the hospital on Saturday after having a mild heart attack as per the officials. He was admitted to the Woodlands Hospital immediately. This incident happened on Saturday during the afternoon gym session he was having in his house gym.
The entire cricketing fraternity was praying for the Ex-Indian captain’s good health. Wishes poured in from all around the world as many ex-cricketers from other countries wished for the BCCI president’s health. The list had big names like Micheal Vaughan, Brett Lee, former Aussie captain, and Dada’s fiercest rival of his time Ricky Ponting. By the evening, reports came in that Sourav was doing well and was out of danger by then. Close aids to the Ganguly family confirmed this before the official statement came out. Later in the day, the Ganguly family gave their statement and confirmed that Ganguly was out of danger. Ganguly also had undergone a COVID-9 test, the reports came out negative sometime later.
On Sunday morning, PM Modi checked on the former India captain’s health as asked about his well being. PM later spoke to Ganguly’s wife Dona Ganguly and checked on her condition as well. The PM wished for Sourav’s speedy recovery and was looking forward to seeing him handle the domestic tournaments to be played post-pandemic.
