The seasoned batsman has fond recollections of trying to beat Pakistan in Dubai; during the ICC T20 World Cup 2021, he scored a half-century. His recent performance isn’t very encouraging because he had a disastrous England tour during which his highest total was 20 runs. Surprisingly, the batter did not travel with the squad to the Caribbean, where everyone had enough of preparation.
However, Virat Kohli appears to be in fantastic shape going into the Asia Cup. In particular the spinners, he is hitting bowlers all over the park. The batter would hope that Virat Kohli returns to the dashing Virat Kohli who once ruled the terms. He would be aware of his presence in the middle, as would VVS Laxman and Rohit Sharma.
