Indian pacer Umesh Yadav shares emotional message for father

Tilak Yadav, the father of India cricketer Umesh Yadav, died on Wednesday at the age of 74 after a long illness in Nagpur. The pacer’s father had fallen ill and was being treated at a private hospital in Nagpur. Tilak Yadav was a native of Uttar Pradesh’s Deoria district and a retired employee of Valni Coal Mine. After landing a job at the Valni coal mine, he settled in Khaparkheda, near Nagpur. Tilak Yadav has two sons and a daughter in addition to Umesh Yadav. Kamlesh and Ramesh are the names of the other two sons. Tilak Yadav was cremated in Nagpur’s Kolar.

On Friday, Yadav completed his father’s final rights in Nagpur. After a lengthy illness in a city hospital, his father died in Nagpur. While the India cricket team began assembling today, Umesh will arrive a few days before the third Border Gavaskar Trophy Test.

“Dad, your guiding hand on my shoulder will remain with me forever. May Lord Shiva bless your soul with eternal peace,” Umesh Yadav shared the news of his father’s demise on Twitter.
