Indian cricketer Jasprit Bumrah and his wife Sanjana Ganesan have embraced the joys of parenthood as they welcomed their baby boy, whom they lovingly named Angad. The momentous occasion was shared by Bumrah on his Instagram account, along with a heartwarming caption and a touching photograph of the newly expanded family.
Bumrah, the renowned Indian pacer, had earlier departed from the Asia Cup 2023 tournament, citing ‘personal reasons,’ which now stand unveiled as the arrival of their first child, Angad Jasprit Bumrah. The couple expressed their immense happiness and anticipation for the new chapter in their lives.
In March 2021, Bumrah and Sanjana tied the knot in a private and intimate ceremony held amidst the scenic beauty of Goa.
Rumors about their relationship initially surfaced when Bumrah was released from the Indian squad ahead of the fourth Test match against England in Ahmedabad. Shortly thereafter, their wedding photos went viral on social media, capturing the attention of cricket fans worldwide. Unfortunately, the strict bio-bubble restrictions imposed due to the Covid-19 pandemic prevented Bumrah’s teammates from attending the celebration. Since their wedding, both Bumrah and Sanjana have shared glimpses of their life together through pictures and interviews.
