Indian leg spinner Kuldeep Yadav undergoes successful knee surgery

Kolkata Knight Riders leg spinner Kuldeep Yadav was been dropped away from the team as he suffered a knee injury before the resumption of the tournament as his surgery has been successfully done.

On Wednesday, the current Indian team leg spinner and Kolkata Knight Riders player Kuldeep Yadav has been a missing piece for the franchise as he suffered a horrific knee injury moments before the start of the second leg of the Indian premier league held in Dubai. He is mostly going to miss the entire domestic season including tours with Sri Lanka, New Zealand, England, and Australia carrying forward till next year. He was out of form due to his poor performance during the first leg of the inaugural prestigious tournament held in India. He got dropped from the squad and in the end caused a knee injury. The former Kolkata Knight Riders spinner will have to go through rehabilitation before joining back the squad.

Kuldeep Yadav himself posted a very emotional and sweet message to his fans all around the world by tweeting, “ Surgery was a success and the road to recovery has just begun. The focus is now to complete the rehab well and be back on the pitch doing what I love as soon as possible.”

The fans were very happy indeed with the updates given by the player himself, as they can’t wait to see him back on the pitch to love what he loves to deliver for the fans of his nation. Left-arm mystery spinner also thanked his fans for the support he received from them via Twitter.

A senior official of BCCI also revealed that “Yes, we got the information that Kuldeep sustained a nasty knee injury during a practice session in UAE. Apparently while fielding, he twisted his knee and it was really bad at that point,”

He played his last match against Sri Lanka where he showed some brilliant bowling performance by taking 2 wickets in the first game and 2 wickets in the T20 format, before a bad knee injury.
