India Women team set to tour Bangladesh for White-Ball Series in July

The Indian women’s cricket team is all set to embark on a tour to Bangladesh for a thrilling white-ball series in July. Shafiul Alam Chowdhury Nadel, the Chairman of Bangladesh Cricket Board’s women’s wing, confirmed the exciting news, expressing his enthusiasm for the upcoming matches.

The much-anticipated series will take place exclusively at the renowned Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium, marking a significant moment for women’s cricket in Bangladesh. This will be the first time in 11 years that the stadium will host a women’s international game, adding to the anticipation and excitement surrounding the event. The last time the Bangladesh women’s team played at this prestigious venue was in 2012 when they faced off against South Africa.

The Indian team, led by their skilled captain, will arrive in Dhaka on July 6, ready to showcase their talent and competitive spirit. The tour will consist of three One-Day Internationals (ODIs) and an equal number of Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is). Cricket enthusiasts can mark their calendars for thrilling T20I encounters on July 9, 11, and 13. The action will continue with the three ODIs scheduled for July 16, 19, and 22.
