India’s Playing XI includes Shubman Gill, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Suryakumar Yadav, Tilak Varma, Hardik Pandya (captain), Sanju Samson (wicketkeeper), Axar Patel, Kuldeep Yadav, Arshdeep Singh, Yuzvendra Chahal, and Mukesh Kumar.

Meanwhile, the West Indies Playing XI features Brandon King, Kyle Mayers, Johnson Charles, Nicholas Pooran (wicketkeeper), Rovman Powell (captain), Shimron Hetmyer, Romario Shepherd, Roston Chase, Akeal Hosein, Alzarri Joseph, and Obed McCoy.

Hardik Pandya, the Indian skipper for the match, expressed his preference to chase, although he admitted that he would have chosen to bat first given the pitch conditions.
