India lost the final test against England to conclude the series by 2-2 but the loss against England pushed India to 5th position behind Pakistan. But, the loss against Sri Lanka forced Pakistan behind India, giving Indian cricket another chance to qualify for the WTC playoffs. India has managed to climb to 4th position while South Africa and Australia have retained their position on number 1 & 2, respectively. Sri Lanka is placed 3rd while India at 4th. Pakistan has fallen a place behind at fifth.
