The Indian men’s cricket team will depart for Australia on October 15 for the upcoming white-ball series, which includes three ODIs and five T20Is. The tour begins with the first ODI in Perth on October 19, as confirmed by PTI.
The squad, led by Shubman Gill, will travel in two batches—one in the morning and another in the evening—based on flight availability. “Virat and Rohit will touch down in the capital either on the day of departure or a day prior,” a source told PTI.
Head coach Gautam Gambhir has also invited the entire ODI squad for a team dinner at his residence in Rajinder Nagar before their departure. The ODI leg will be followed by five T20Is, marking India’s final international assignment before the domestic season picks up pace.
