India sealed the series by 2-0 after defeating South Africa at Guwahati on Sunday. Rohit Sharma and his clan continue the winning fairy tale.
India was batting first in the second match of the T20I series. Hitman (42) and KL Rahul (55) both gave India a great start. However, the star player for India was SuryaKumar Yadav who scored his half-century in just 18 balls.
Sky destroyed the South African bowlers along with King Kohli (49*) who stood undisputed till the last ball. Dinesh Kartikh finished the job for India by scoring 18 runs in the last over.
South Africa again had a disappointing start losing their captain Temba Bavuma and Rilee Rossouw for a duck. Aiden Markram (33) looked stable but was soon dismissed by Axar Patel.
However, Quinton De Kock (69*) and David Miller (106*) kept fighting till the very last ball and their contribution was worth it because their efforts brought down the losing margin to just 16 runs.
