Indian cricket team has won against England in the fourth Test at the Oval by 157 runs. India is now leading the five-Test match series by 2-1.

Indian cricket team has won against England in the fourth Test by a huge 157 runs at The Oval cricket ground. It was a huge victory for Virat Kohli’s team as they won their first Test match in The Oval after 50 years.

England needed 368 runs to win the fourth Test match, but Indian bowlers were so brilliant in this game that they didn’t let them reach even 250. England cricket team was all out on 210 and Umesh Yadav took the most wickets in this match (6) who was playing his first Test match in this whole series.

Indian cricket team won the game and lead the series by 2-1. Shardul Thakur who was also back in the team after his injury performed exceptionally well with the bat as well as with the bowl. He scored 57 runs in the second innings and also took one of the Important wickets of England captain Joe Root in this match. With this victory, it is confirmed that India can’t lose this five-Test match series against England. However, there’s still the possibility of a draw if the England team wins against Virat Kohli’s team in the fifth Test match which is to be held at Manchester from 10th September to 14th September. England will be looking to bounce back after this loss.

When India was here in England back in 2018 for the five-Test match series against them, they lost the series by a 4-1. Virat Kohli’s men were able to win only one match that was played in Trent Bridge in 2018. But after four years, the Indian team is looking high spirited and consistently giving a commendable performance in the field, with the bat as well as with the bowl.
