India declared their first innings at 421 for 5, after Yashasvi Jaiswal scored 171 runs and Virat Kohli contributed 76. In the first innings, Ashwin’s five-wicket haul restricted West Indies to just 150 runs. Despite West Indies showing some resistance in their second innings, Ashwin continued his dominance, adding seven more wickets.
