India lost their 3rd wicket as Deepak Hooda had to walk back, leaving India at 108 runs for 3 wickets.
Earlier the Indian openers appeared to be set to a good start until Rohit Sharma stepped back with 33 runs off only 16 deliveries. The Indian captain had a strong start but was eventually knocked out by Akeal Hosein. Suryakumar Yadav, who scored 24 runs off 14 deliveries, followed in the captain’s footsteps.
Fans were ecstatic to see Sanju Samson step out to bat after such a long period, and it is now up to the batsman to prove his spot for both the Asia Cup and the T20I World Cup. All eyes will be on Sanju Samson today, who battled his way past a slew of veteran players to get his spot in tonight’s match against the West Indies.
