In a nail-biting moment during the ongoing test match, Virat Kohli survived a crucial catch drop by West Indies fielder Kraigg Brathwaite. The incident occurred when left-arm spinner Jomel Warrican bowled a full delivery just outside the off-stump. Kohli, tempted by the flighted delivery, went for an ambitious drive, resulting in the ball hanging in the air for a moment.
As the crowd held their breath, the ball landed in the hands of Brathwaite at short cover. However, much to the dismay of the West Indies team, the fielder failed to hold on to the catch. It was a low, difficult chance to his right, and unfortunately, Brathwaite couldn’t grasp it cleanly.
