IND vs WI: BCCI plans to play two additional T20Is in the upcoming series against Windies in July-August

It’s believed that the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has agreed to play two more Twenty20 Internationals in the West Indies than were originally planned. The extra games will be included in the comprehensive series that was a part of the FTP in July–August. Instead of three T20Is, the tour will instead include 10 games: two Tests, three ODIs, and five T20Is.

In July–August 2023, the Indian men’s cricket team is most likely to visit the West Indies. During the tour, the Men in Blue are scheduled to play two tests, three ODIs, and five T20Is. The Future Tours Programme includes India’s full-fledged series. (FTP).

A Test game is anticipated to kick off the series on or around July 10 or 12.

According to BCCI sources, India and West Indies were scheduled to play three T20Is and one ODI each in addition to two Test matches. But the series was expanded by two more T20Is. It was completed in Dubai during recent ICC meetings.

“BCCI and Cricket West Indies (CWI) have a healthy bilateral relationship that is based on mutual respect and understanding of each other’s needs and role in world cricket,” said CWI chief Ricky Skerritt during an interview.
