After the completion of the 3-match ODI series, India and West Indies both will lock horns against each other in the shorter format
A total of 3 matches are scheduled to be played in this bilateral T20I series and all three matches will be played at the Eden Gardens, Kolkata.
Kieron Pollard will lead the West Indies side in this series while Rohit Sharma will lead the Indian side. Both the parties have pretty healthy squads and another exciting competition is anticipated between the two teams.
These two teams have met each other a total of 17 times in the T20I format, with men in blue winning 10 of those times.
The visitors defeated England 3-2 last month in the 5-match T20I series at home soil and would be desperate to replicate similar results in Kolkata too. On the other hand, men in blue last played against the Kiwis and defeated them 3-0 in the T20Is at home.
