It is clear that Hardik Pandya will play a significant role in the middle order, and with Axar Patel having a successful T20 series and with his left-arm spinning advantage, team India can give this duo a shot. However, the selectors and team captain have not revealed much about the all-rounders and the middle order unit.

With Jasprit Bumrah being ruled out of the series, Arshdeep Singh can take the charge with Mohammed Siraj and experienced pacer Shami, along with spinner Yuzvendra Chahal.
