India will face Sri Lanka for the third and final T20I in Dharamshala. India has already won the series with a lead of 2-0 and would like to clean swipe Sri Lanka by winning this game.
Sri Lanka has won the toss and has decided to bat first. After the toss, Sri Lankan Captain Dasun Shanaka said that the wicket seems good, and the Team is eager to win the final T20I for dignity.
On the other hand, Rohit seemed pretty happy with bowling first. India has made four changes for the last T20I. Kishan, Bhuvi, Bumrah, and Chahal have been rested. Bishnoi, Kuldeep, Avesh, and Siraj are back in the playing XI.
Take a look at the playing XI of both the teams:
Sri Lanka: 1 Pathum Nissanka, 2 Danushka Gunathilaka, 3 Charith Asalanka, 4 Janith Liyanage, 5 Dinesh Chandimal (wk), 6 Dasun Shanaka (captain), 7 Chamika Karunaratne, 8 Dushmantha Chameera, 9 Binura Fernando, 10 Jeffrey Vandersay, 11 Lahiru Kumara.
India: 1 Rohit Sharma (captain), 2 Sanju Samson (wk), 3 Ishan Kishan, 4 Deepak Hooda, 5 Ravindra Jadeja, 6 Venkatesh Iyer, 7 Harshal Patel, 8 Kuldeep Yadav, 9 Avesh Khan, 10 Ravi Bishnoi, 11 Mohammed Siraj.
With Ishan being ruled out of the final game. It would be exciting to see who’ll open the innings for India with Rohit. Venkatesh Iyer seems like the best option to open as he appeared to do so previously for Kolkata Knight Riders and Madhya Pradesh Cricket Team. Sanju Samson and Shreyas Iyer are other options for India as openers for the final game. On many occasions, Shreyas and Samson have opened innings for their respective IPL franchises.
