IND vs SL 1st ODI: Will Suryakumar Yadav get added to playing XI?

Due to the significance of the ICC World Cup 2023, team India will concentrate on maintaining a consistent starting XI and making few changes to the playing squad this year. While the top three batsmen, Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul, and Virat Kohli, will be implementing their strengths, it appears impossible for Suryakumar Yadav to make to the starting lineup.

In order to manage his workload, Suryakumar had to take a break from the ODI format. Due to the ICC T20 World Cup last year, he spent the majority of his time on T20I assignments.

SKY has played 16 ODI games, totaling 384 runs. With two half centuries, the tenacious batsman is still competing for his first ODI century while slamming three stunning centuries in his preferred T20 format.

In the 50-over format, Shreyas, who made his ODI debut in December 2017, has been absolutely sensational. The right-handed batter got his opportunities in the 50-over format and he made the most of it.
