After winning the first Test match, Virat Kohli was confident to register the first series win over Rainbow nation. But the start of the second innings of the final match showcases another side of him.

After winning the first test match, it was quite evident that team India arrived with a strong plan against South Africa. But with the start of a second Test match, things went in a completely different direction and strategies failed with senseless choices from the skipper.

Against the quality pace attack, team India openers failed again and make surrender in the crucial game. With the major contribution of skipper Kohli 79, team India has scored 223 runs in the first innings. Kagiso Rabada picked up 4 wickets along Marco Jansen has taken 3 wickets in the first innings.

In reply, South Africa bowled out at a modest score of 210 runs in the first innings. As only Kegan Paterson has the valiant effort of 72 runs remains the highlight of innings. After getting the small lead, team India had enough time to push the hosts on the back foot.

But South Africa had one thing in his arsenal and they destroyed the best batting lineup of the Indian team in the second innings as well. Lungi Ngidi, Marco Jansen, and Kagiso Rabada hunted in packs and humiliated the visitors with the pure class of sensational bowling.

Jansen has taken 4 wickets along with Nigidi and Rabada shared 3-3 wickets each in the second innings. South Africa had set the target of 211 runs to win the series.

After winning the first Test match, Virat Kohli was confident to register the first series win over Rainbow nation. But the start of the second innings of the final test match showcases another side of Virat Kohli.

Ashwin bowling to Dean Elgar when it appealed for LBW and Kohli went for review. After it was clearly shown the ball missed the stumps while pitching inside. Kohli couldn’t control his aggression and went a level ahead and said something on the mic.

“Focus on your team as well when they shine the ball eh, not just the opposition. Trying to catch people all the time.” Rahul and Ashwin also expressed similar reactions. “It’s the whole country against 11 guys,” said KL Rahul, while Ashwin slammed the broadcaster: “You should find better ways to win, SuperSport.”

After this reaction, Vaughan pointed out the skipper and called it unacceptable in every way.

“I think that is disgraceful from the Indians personally,” Michael Vaughan said on Fox Sports coverage of the Ashes. “Decisions go with you, they go against you, that didn’t go the way they think it should have gone,” he added.

“Virat Kohli is a legend of the game, but that’s not the way to act, that is not the way to act in a game of Test match cricket. The ICC have to stamp this down, they have to stamp down on the Indian side, you can’t get away with talking down the stump microphone like Ravi Ashwin done and the Indian captain did,” he further added.
