IND vs SA Live: Can team India chase the huge target of 228 to whitewash the Proteas?

In the third and final T20I on Tuesday at the Holkar Cricket Stadium in Indore, South Africa posted a massive total of 227 for 3 against India in 20 overs thanks to Rilee Rossouw’s first T20I century. Temba Bavuma’s dismissal by Umesh Yadav gave India an early advantage, but Rossouw and Quinton de Kock (68 off 43 balls) kept the Proteas in the game. Rossouw hit 100 not out off 48 balls after De Kock was run out, and nothing could stop him. Rohit Sharma, the captain of India, chose to bat first against South Africa after winning the toss.

It will be exciting to watch the blues sealing the series in a whitewash manner without any assistance of Virat or KL Rahul.

The performance of players like Deepak Chahar, Arshdeep Singh, and Harshal Patel will determine India’s lineup for the major competition because Jasprit Bumrah has already been ruled out of the T20 World Cup. The likes of Shreyas Iyer and Rishabh Pant are likely to get an opportunity among the top four tonight, and will be eager to take advantage of it because KL Rahul and Virat Kohli will also be rested for the final game. South Africa will be hoping for some solace in the meanwhile and will be counting on Rilee Rossouw to participate in the running.
