South Africa captain Temba Bavuma won the toss in Raipur and elected to bowl first, marking his return to the playing XI for the second ODI of the series.

“We are gonna have a bowl,” Bavuma said at the toss, as the Proteas chose to field once again against India.

This is the second consecutive match in which India have lost the toss, handing South Africa the early advantage under overcast and favourable bowling conditions.

The Men in Blue will look to build on their 17-run victory from the first ODI, while Bavuma’s return strengthens the visiting side as they aim to level the series.
