IND vs NZ 1st ODI: Mohammed Siraj’s double blow brings India back in the game

Mitchell Santner has been taken out of  by Mohammed Siraj to allow India to reenter. After the Kiwis lost 6 wickets, Santner and Michael Bracewell put up 162 runs to turn the match in their favour. Bracewell has a century on the crease to keep the Kiwis in the game.

Followed by Santner’s wicket, Siraj went on for a double blow as Shipley departed for a duck as Siraj bowled him in the very next ball.

Only one hope remains for New Zealand with Michael Bracewell still on strike, but can the Indian bowlers help the blues extend their winning streak with just two wickets to claim?

Earlier in the game – 

India seemed to have an upper hand after Shubman Gill’s double ton gave a tough target of 350 runs to the Kiwis. Followed by the top order destruction of the top order, the hosts were comfortable for an easy win but Michael Bracewell stated the “It is not over yet” sign after his incredible ton.

Bracewell put up an amazing score, supporting team New Zealand from the bottom and the Indians who were majorly prepared for Latham or Conway, will be surprised by Michael’s innings.
