On the second day of the final Test match against England, Rishabh Pant smashed his fourth Test century and the first at home. The century came as a memento when India needed it the most in Ahmedabad. As Pant inched closer to the three-figure score, he played a reverse scoop off Jimmy Anderson’s ball. Pant’s audacity of not fearing England’s leading wicket-taker in Test cricket, Anderson, made the former cricketers and fans to applaud him.
Me Watching Rishabh Pant reverse sweep Anderson for a boundary and then bring up his century with a SIX.

Pant came into bat when India were tottering at 80 after losing skipper Virat Kohli and vice-captain Ajinkya Rahane shortly in the first session.
The 23-year-old wicket-keeper dominated the third session with sheer brilliance before departing for 101 off 118. His wicket was probably Anderson’s revenge. His innings noted two sixes and 13 boundaries.
He got engaged in two big partnerships for India in due course, a 113 run-stand with Washington Sundar and a 41-run partnership with opener Rohit Sharma.
