IND vs ENG: Jofra Archer will miss the second Test against India due to elbow injury

England pacer Jofra Archer will miss out on the second Test against the hosts after suffering an elbow injury. The pacer experienced difficulties in the first match in Chennai followed by the injection process. However, Archer has taken an injection in his right elbow in the match that visitors won by 227 runs.

Archer ruled out of the second Test after the confirmation from the medical staff. England did not feel like he had a serious injury eventually, things turned against them. Stuard Broad could be called to replace Archer for the second Test.

The second Test will start on Saturday 13th February with some changes in both of the squads. Axar Patel might replace Shahbaz Nadeem after seen practicing in the nets. Ben Foakes will be joining the England squad because of the unavailability of Jos Buttler.

The visitors will hope for the speedy recovery of Jofra Archer so that he can take part in the third Test that will be played in Ahmedabad.
