IND vs ENG: Injured Jadeja has been ruled out of Test series against England

Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja has been ruled out of the ongoing four-match Test series against England in the home ground India. Ravindra Jadeja was part of the Indian team during the tour of Australia where he dislocated his thumb in the Sydney Test and was unavailable for the Gabba Test.

He was sent back to National Cricket Academy (NCA) Bangalore for further management of his injury. He played a crucial role against Australia in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy.

India announced the team for the first two Tests against England after the arrival of the team from Australia after which, it was expected that Jadeja can join the squad in the third and fourth Tests that are scheduled in Ahmedabad.

Earlier, the sources disclosed that everything goes accordingly, then 32-year-old Ravindra Jadeja will join the team in Ahmedabad as he would have gone to Ahmedabad early for mandatory quarantine. But Jadeja’s recovery is taking more time and it confirms that he will be unavailable for the 3rd and 4th Test matches as well.
