The first Test between India and England is started on Friday, 5th February where England won the toss and choose to bar first. The visitors put up a score of 263-3 on Day 1. The young off-spinner of England Dom Bess is looking forward to performing for his country.
Dom Bess revealed that how would he react if he picks up Virat Kohli’s wicket. The India skipper Kohli is one of the most dangerous players in cricket history. The bowlers of every team dream of getting the wicket of Virat Kohli. Dom Bess is one of the impressive young talents of England’s team.
“I will go loony, be running off,” said Dom Bess when asked what if he got the wicket of Virat Kohli.
Dom Bess made his debut in 2018 and played 12 Tests with 31 wickets in his hand. The 23-year also impressed the selectors from his bat and that’s why he has given the chance in the first Test against India ahead of Moeen Ali.
Dom Bess also revealed that he did some practice in his room during the quarantine period.
“No (not much cricket in the room), but I have got one of the SG balls to get accustomed to. In Sri Lanka, we had used Kookaburra. Getting the ball in my hand, getting the feel of it really,” the Somerset all-rounder added.
