The homeboy Ravichandran Ashwin came into bat when India were tottering at 106/6 in their second innings. It was not any cringe bother for India as they already had a lead of 301 runs. The Southpaw already took a five-for earlier. This time, he notched up a ton, his fifth Test hundred.
The hundred came in 135 balls. The celebration was simple, taking the helmet off and raising the back. But what caught the eyeballs was the way his batting partner Mohammed Siraj celebrated. Siraj pumped in the air twice and enjoyed the work of his fellow teammate.
A moment to cherish forever! @ashwinravi99 gets his Test💯 in Chennai and Md. Siraj erupts in joy. The dressing room stands up to applaud.🙌🏾 #TeamIndia #INDvENG @paytm pic.twitter.com/ykrBhsiTbl

Ashwin was the last man to lose the wicket and end India’s innings.
