On day 2 of the first test in Chennai, Rohit Sharma put down a simple catch at the straight midwicket in the 175th over the England innings.
England cricketer Dom Bess stepped out and attempted to flick Washington Sundar, hitting the ball towards Rohit who got the ball at chest stature. The team India layer attempted to finish the catch with his fingers facing up however finished by spilling it. Ben Strokes looked stunned as the attempted to cover his face with the hand in disbelief. Indian Captain Virat Kohli likewise had a discouraged look all over, following this missed chance.

The second conflict between India and England will be held at the same venue but the Tamil Nadu Cricket Association is hoping to have 50% crowd for the next Test, starting from February 13.
England tour of India will conclude with a three-match ODI series, which will be held at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune.
