IND vs ENG: Ashwin strikes back, as England lost Burns in the first ball of second inning

After the end of the first inning of India, England didn’t give them follow-on and decided to play their second inning. However, the decision of Joe Root doesn’t seem in the favor of the visitors as Ashwin strikes in the very first ball of the second inning.

India scored 337-runs in their first inning while chasing the monstrous target of 578, India trails by 241-runs after the end of inning 1. The visitors decided to carry-on their second inning and found themselves in difficulties in the very first ball.

The great start for the home side witnessed when Rahane took the cath of Rory Burns in the slip and sent him back for a golden duck. Session 1 of Day ends with 1-1 for England with Daniel Lawrence and Dominic Sibley on the crease.
