After a long break, the Indian cricket team and Bangladesh’s team are prepared to play ODI series. India will play three one-day internationals against Bangladesh while on a brief tour there. The Indian cricket team has already begun training there and will take on Bangladesh in the opening ODI on Sunday, December 4.
Shikhar Dhawan, who has been the captain of the ODI team for a while, currently only participates in the ODI format. He has played fairly consistently this year and hasn’t missed a single ODI. After Rohit Sharma’s return, he won’t have to serve as captain and can focus solely on his batting. Dhawan is slowly and steadily approaching a very unusual record as he an become the player with the most fours in ODIs this year. Dhawan has hit 77 fours in the 19 one-day international matches he has played so far this year, and he still needs 22. He will surpass South African women’s cricketer Laura Wolvaardt if he accomplishes this feat. In 18 games, Laura has 98 fours.
