India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to flip the coin for the final Border-Gavaskar Trophy Test match between India and Australia. The final Test, which will be played in Ahmedabad on March 9, will begin with India leading the four-match series 2-1. Australia’s Prime Minister, Anthony Albanese, is also expected to attend the toss. The latter is in India for a four-day official visit and will attend Day 1 of the competition in Ahmedabad.

Albanese confirmed to the hosts, Nat Locke and Shaun Mcmanus, on NOVA 93.7 Perth ahead of his current visit to India that he and PM Modi will be at the toss for the Ahmedabad Test.

“There is a lot of pressure on because myself and Prime Minister Modi are tossing the coin,” read a transcript of Albanese’s radio interview on the PM’s official website.
